Dr. Ladipo Dr. Ladipo, the rector of the College oversees the activities of the Center. She in that capacity serves on several interest of the College and the nation on the concept of TVET. She was at the UNEVOC International Center in January 2014. She continues to innovatively lead the TVET charge both at the College, in the nation and globally.
Her objective is "to make optimum use of my leadership and organizational abilities to enhance human capacity development in technical and entrepreneurial education, with a view to making Yaba College of Technology ICT compliant, innovative and research oriented, so that our students would excel and compete in the global market."
The above is a testament of the transformation ongoing at the College through Dr. Ladipo's administration.
She had her university education up until the terminal degree at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with a specialization in Analytical Chemistry. After a stint at Kaduna Polytechnic, she had been in Yaba College of Technology all through her career. She rose through the ranks from Lecturer 2 in 1987 to the incumbent Rector of the College.
She had meritoriously served the College and educational sector in Nigeria in numerous capacities some of which are:

  • Member, Board of Survey Committee

She equally has numerous awards to her accolade which include:

  • 2012 - Recognition of your contribution to the Development of Chemical Society of Nigeria, April 2012
  • 2011 - Honorary Fellowship in Recognition of your contribution to the Freight Forwarding Industry in Nigeria October 2011
  • 2011 - ICAN Award in Recognition of your contribution and commitment to the service of Humanity and Impartation of lives
  • 2011 - Junior Chamber International (JCI) Award of Excellence
  • 2011 - University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Award in Recognition of your contribution towards the Development of Vocational & Technical Education in Nigeria

She is the author several papers, journals and books.
